Relationships are hard. They’re also incredibly meaningful. I work with couples because I believe intimate partnership is one of the most powerful—and sometimes painful—arenas for growth, healing, and transformation.
Whether you’re newly together, fifteen years in, or navigating a rupture, couples therapy can help you slow down, reconnect, and re-learn how to hear and be heard.
Why Couples Work Matters to Me
I chose to specialize in couples counseling because I’ve seen how painful it can be when two people love each other but can’t seem to get out of the cycles that keep hurting them. I’ve also seen how powerful it is when a couple finds their way back—when they stop fighting against each other and start fighting for the relationship.
Helping couples find their footing again is some of the most rewarding work I do.
Some therapists treat couples counseling as a side offering. For me, it’s a core part of my practice. Something I’m trained in. Invested in. Passionate about.
What I Bring to the Table
I integrate several evidence-based approaches to support couples, including:
- The Gottman Method To improve communication, reduce conflict, and rebuild trust through proven tools.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Solution-Focused Brief Therapy To interrupt negative thought patterns and generate a new mindset for moving towards your preferred future.
- Mindfulness and Emotional Awareness To help each partner stay present, grounded, and open, especially when things feel tense.
- A steady presence So that even when things feel messy, there’s someone in the room who can hold space and help you make sense of it all.
I’m not here to take sides. I’m here to help both of you feel heard, understood, and equipped with tools to move forward. Together.
Who I Work Best With
- Couples in their 20s, 30s, and early 40s. Whether your just gettting started, just finding out relationships can be hard, or navigating big life transitions
- Older-souls who value depth and meaning in relationship
- Partners who want to make it work, even if they’re not sure how
You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from couples therapy. Some of my favorite work is with couples who just want to tune up their relationship and strengthen what’s already good.
