Thinking About Couples Counseling?

If you are reading this, you might be wondering if you need couples counseling. I’m not here to say you do or don’t. Only you can decide that. But having experienced couples counseling myself, I would say that EVERYONE can benefit from it, even if they don’t necessarily NEED it.

How can CBT help?

When our thoughts are positive, our feelings and actions tend to be. When our feelings are positive, we do and think good things. When we take positive action, our thoughts and feelings follow along. Whichever leads, the others follow.

What is an LMFT?

Even if we are sitting across from one person, we are still considering how change in that one person will result iinchage in that person’s spouse, friends, children, etc. We tend to think we are not sitting across from only one person, even when there is only one person sitting across from us.
